Export Credit Guarantee Corporation of India (ECGC Ltd) is an export promotion organization, working under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. ECGC Ltd conducts exams to recruit Probationary Officers in the pay scale of 32795-1610(14)-55335-1745(4)-62315. Recruitment for this post is done once in a year.

Eligibility Criteria :

The minimumage of candidates is21 years and maximum age is 30 years.Relaxation of age is permitted as per Government rules. Candidates should be a Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized by the Central government.

Recruitment Process :

Recruitment of candidates for this post will be based on an Online Examination, followed by an interview. The examination consists of two papers, Multiple Choice Question paper (MCQ) and a descriptive paper. MCQ paper will comprise of 200 questions. Each question carries one mark. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. The sections included are Reasoning Ability, English Language, Computer Knowledge, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude. The duration of the exam is 140 minutes. The exam paper will include 50 questions, each from Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude, 40 questions, each from English Language and General Awareness and 20 questions from Computer Knowledge. Descriptive exam will assess the candidate’s proficiency in English Language. It includes Essay writing and Precise writing. The descriptive exam is for 40 marks. 40 minutes will be allotted for this exam.  The company arranges a free online Pre-examination training for candidates belonging to SC/ST.
